Most ebooks can found by using iDiscover. Enter your keyword(s) in the search box to find a particular title or to see if there is an ebook on a topic. Some titles may show up twice if we have print and ebook versions.

You will need to select the 'Books’ option under the heading ‘Resource Type’ and the ‘Full Text Available’ option under the heading ‘Availability’ from the ‘Refine my results’ panel to the left of the results screen.

Once you have found the title you want, you can click on the green text ‘Full Text Available’ or ‘Online Access’ from the short records in the results screen and this will take you through to the ebook. If you are off-campus you will see a Raven login prompt at this point (Raven login details should only be entered into a Raven login screen). If you are on-campus you will usually be taken directly to the ebook website without needing to login, but some platforms, including Dawsonera, will require a Raven login on-campus.

If you want to see more details about the title you can click on the title in the results list and be taken through to the item record. From this screen you can click through to the title from the ‘Links’ or ‘View Online’ sections.

Some titles will not yet show up in a search on iDiscover: apabi Digital Library, Early English Books OnlineEighteenth Century Collections OnlineSpringerSearch their websites for ebooks instead.
