If a book you would like to consult is out on loan to another reader, you may place a request through iDiscover to have the borrower return the book to the library.
To log in to iDiscover, follow this link and see the top right hand 'log in' button. If you have problems logging in you can email: library@lib.cam.ac.uk for assistance.
The online request option is visible if you are logged in to your library account on iDiscover and have the full record open:
The borrower should then return the book within a week. You will be sent an email confirming when the book has been returned and letting you know from where to collect it.
NB: Books on loan to some categories of reader will now renew automatically and indefinitely so it is worth requesting borrowed books rather than waiting for them to come back unprompted.
