Some libraries will only lend to members of their own department. If the library that has the book is not your own, you should contact them and ask if you will be able to borrow it. You can find library contact details, and information on borrowing permissions, in the Libraries Directory.
If the book you want is in another college library, you will not be able to borrow it, but you may be able to visit the library and consult it there. Contact the college library in question to see if that will be possible.
