University Library

The University Library offers an Inter-Library Loan service which provides access to material not held within Cambridge University whilst also supplying material from its own stock to other libraries.

Anyone who has access to the University Library may use this service. The fee for an Inter-Library Loan request is currently £5.00 for members of Cambridge University and £12.00 for all other readers. Further information can be found here.

If you think that the University Library should have a copy of the item you need but you can’t find it in the catalogue you can recommend it for purchase; details are provided here.

College and Faculty Libraries

Many local Faculty and Departmental libraries operate Inter-Library Loan services. Contact them for more information.

To recommend a title for purchase then please speak to the librarian. Contact details for all libraries can be found via the Libraries Directory.
